About Carys
I've been working as an actor for the past 7 years and have gone through my share of auditions and shows. I also remember very well the drama school audition process if that is something you're interested in.
My most notable work includes Olivier award-winning 'Fiddler on the Roof' and 'Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club. I have also worked with the Lyric Hammersmith, Soho Theatre, The Cockpit Theatre, Shakespeare in the Squares, and have toured around the UK and Ireland.
I have a vast range of knowledge from Shakespeare and classical texts, to modern day writing.

About the lesson

I trained at Rose Bruford College and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and have been working professionally as a performer since. I will be drawing on experience from my training and professional work.
A lesson will be an hour long, we'll begin with getting you into your body and voice with a grounding warm-up, and do a little work freeing you up to be confident and able to play. We'll then go through your material, getting it to a place where you feel happy with what you're doing with exercises and methodology. I'd love for you to keep me updated on your auditions!
These lessons are for anyone and everyone that feels they can benefit from them. Just so long as you've some material you'd like to work on then we have a lesson.
