About Melanie
In 2016 I completed my second year of college in Sevilla, Spain. Shortly after, I decided to add Spanish as a second major. I also completed an internship with a non-profit in Valparaíso, Chile during the summer of 2018. I have some experience doing private, conversational tutoring for those who wish to advance their speaking and conversational skills.

My teaching methods will always depend on the student and their goals. Typically we will spend the first lesson getting to know one another and what you hope to get out of private lessons. After that, I will pick a theme or topic for each lesson that we will base our conversations off of. My approach is very conversational based, as this is often the most difficult part to learning a language. I also give out fun activities to help build skills such as listening to Spanish music and writing down which words you understand. Lessons and tasks can be adapted to individuals, their skills, and their goals.
