I found 80-95% students scared to see the code. They don't even understand what the hell is written on that scarry black screen. My methodology is quite simple --
1. First if you have no experience in programming then I will start from very basic and slowly dig into the deep. You won't realize when you have become novice to expert.
2. If you have previous experience in programming but you don't understand the things. Although you are from IT background but you have programming. So in this case I will erase everything that you have learn in that particular language and will start fresh.
