About Waleed
I am a passionate and dedicated Mathematics teacher with 32 years of teaching experience and BSc and MSc degrees in Mathematics. I enjoy helping students overcome difficulties, build confidence, and discover that Mathematics can be simple and enjoyable. I want to teach because I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance, patience, and encouragement. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving step by step.

With 32 years of experience teaching Mathematics and BSc and MSc degrees in Mathematics, I provide clear, structured, and personalised lessons for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12.
My teaching approach is patient, interactive, and student-focused. I first identify the student’s current level and learning needs, then explain concepts step by step using simple examples, guided practice, and problem-solving exercises. I focus on understanding rather than memorising formulas, helping students develop strong mathematical reasoning and confidence.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with the pace and content adapted to each student. I can help with school Mathematics, homework, exam preparation, difficult topics, revision, and strengthening basic concepts.
Whether you are a beginner who needs a strong foundation or a Grade 12 student preparing for important exams, my goal is to make Mathematics clear, manageable, and enjoyable.
