About Nicolas
Sports have been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up around tennis taught me the value of hard work, consistency, and maintaining a positive attitude when facing challenges. These are lessons that extend beyond the court, and I enjoy helping young athletes develop them alongside their athletic skills.
I believe learning a sport should be both challenging and enjoyable. My goal is to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, trying new things, and improving at their own pace. I take pride in being reliable, patient, and encouraging, while still motivating students to give their best effort.
Whether your goal is to learn the basics, stay active, build confidence, or improve for school and recreational play, I am committed to helping each student progress and enjoy the journey of becoming a better player.

Hi, I'm Nicolas. As a tennis and pickleball coach, my goal is to help students build strong fundamentals, confidence, and a genuine love for the game. I have been playing tennis since I was 3 years old and competed as a member of the Romanian National Tennis Team, giving me years of high-level playing experience that I now enjoy sharing with others.
My teaching approach focuses on learning through practice, encouragement, and repetition. A typical lesson includes a warm-up, footwork exercises, stroke development, serving practice, and fun drills designed to improve consistency and confidence. As students progress, I introduce strategy, match situations, and mental skills that help them perform better during games.
What sets me apart is that I connect well with younger players. Being 16 years old myself, I understand how to make lessons engaging, approachable, and enjoyable for elementary school students, middle school students, and younger high school players. I create a positive environment where students can learn at their own pace while still being challenged to improve.
My lessons are designed for beginners and intermediate players who want to learn tennis or pickleball, improve their skills, prepare for school teams, or simply have fun while becoming better athletes.

I have worked with Nicolas in the past, and he was very effective in teaching my son about the fundamentals to more advanced motions, grips, and techniques. My son is now on the tennis team for his school and among the best on the team, his coach made him love tennis.

Wonderful teacher,
he is very good with beginners. I brought my 14 year old son and my 6 year old son as beginners and now they are very experienced. I highly recommend.I met Nic at a camp called NYLT (National Youth Leadership Training). Nic is a tennis coach. One event that I shared with Nic was NYLT, in which we tented at an overnight campsite called Megimsey. At Megimsey, we were taught how to be great leaders as well as handle hard situations. I recommend Nic because he is a great leader and likes to help other people get better in any way he can.
