My name is Shaan, I am 18 and I am a former Tiffin Girl that will be hopefully studying Classics at Oxford after the summer. I love to learn, and I want to make learning enjoyable for others, as I understand how learning at school can be a challenge if you need extra support. Therefore, I am determined to give my all so that you can meet the goals you have.

I have previously tutored in school as both a Spanish and Latin mentor in Sixth Form. Latin language teaching is generally flexible and can be adapted to the needs and aims of the student, but would generally involve consolidation of grammar and vocabulary, as well as exam technique practice. For Latin A Level and GCSE literature, I can provide guidance on exam technique as well as general analysis.
As a former tiffin girls' student I have had experience in preparing relatives for the 11+ exams. 11+ Entrance Exam tuition would consist of regular practice of Verbal and Non-Verbal reasoning and/or Maths and English skills (depending on the entrance exam eg. Slough Consortium or exams for individual schools) using the Bond practice papers and books.
For both subject areas I would recommend a single one hour session a week, perhaps two for 11+ tuition depending on the student's performance.
