About Stevie
"Developing a consistent practice routine is often the biggest hurdle for new guitarists. Having earned a Master of Music in Music Performance from Singapore Management University, I guide students through power chords, reading sheet music, grade exam prep, barre chords, music theory, blues progressions, improvisation, soloing, and strumming patterns.
My 3 years of teaching have refined a methodical process that balances technical mastery with genuine enjoyment. I ensure that the foundations are strong enough to support years of playing. This background allows me to simplify complex musical concepts into manageable segments for every student."

"Musicianship grows through steady practice. Achieving fluency is the primary goal. I emphasize proper technique to ensure students play with ease and confidence. During our time, we dissect blues progressions and complex strumming patterns with a focus on structural accuracy.
My 3 years of experience allow me to troubleshoot mechanical issues in playing before they become habits. We work through reading sheet music and theory, ensuring that every session builds on the last one. My approach focuses on building a deep understanding of the instrument rather than just rote memorization of songs. Expect a consistent and logical path forward."
