About Nick
I started playing when I was 10 years old. The first song I learned was stairway to heaven on an old rusty stringed acoustic at my uncles house. It took me forever but I played it very slow until I could get through the whole thing. Then I slowly sped it up until I could play it as fast as I wanted and I was hooked for life. Playing an instrument is about the feeling you get when your body is rhythmically moving in a way that creates a sound that you like. Improvisation is mastery of that feeling and an ability to express it freely.
