About Tina
I'm now doing a PhD in Education at University of Exeter. I got a Master's degree in TESOL and Applied Linguistics from MMU, Manchester in 2020. I have a lot of experience in teaching such as 4 years as a lecturer in university in Vietnam, 4 years as a teaching assistant in VUS English centre, 1 year as a private tutor for teenagers and adults in Manchester. Teaching is what I'm most confident and passionate about. I would love to teach Vietnamese and culture as well.

My teaching method is quite flexible as I have experience in teaching different learners from kids to teenagers and adults. My philosophy is that the goal of teaching is the use of language in real life. As a result, when teaching language, I focus on speaking and taking other skills to support conversation. Also, I strongly believe that learning a language is alongside acquiring that culture; therefore, all of my lessons consist of contexts for cultural understanding as well
