About Micha
I absolutely love teaching and I think education is invaluable. I love seeing the joy on my students' faces when something they used to find tricky they are able to do with ease. I certainly believe in a growth mindset and remind my students that in sessions it may be challenging at first but the more effort we put in together the easier it will become. I have over 5 years of experience teaching across KS1 and LKS2 and gained QTS in 2022. I enjoy teaching all subjects but I have a real passion for the grammar side of literacy. I offer tutoring across all of the primary maths and English curriculum including phonics, handwriting and times table support. Being neurodivergent myself, inclusivity is always at my forefront of what I do! I am able to adapt my learning to suit learners with additional learning needs

As an experienced primary school teacher depending on the subject and area you require support with will vary with the resources used. At a primary level, you can expect visual aids and concrete manipulatives in maths as we build up to mastery from a pictorial to the more abstract areas of maths. Lesson lengths - 2 choices; 40 minutes or 60 minute sessions. I have over 2 years of experience as a private tutor ranging from the ages of 5 -14 and 6+ years of experience working in the classroom.

Micha is an excellent teacher and tutor. Working alongside her personally I get to witness first hand how much she loves her job. If you’re looking for a genuine tutor who cares and knows how to teach and support children accessing the primary school curriculum then she’s the one for you!
Micha has been tutoring my 2 children for the past 6 months (year 2 and year 5). I have seen them make so much progress academically but also socially. She is patient and really knows how to break down concepts so that they understand. They really look forward to their online sessions each week and she’s taken so much time to get to know them.
