About Markian
My contact: +1 (concealed information) I’m a Computer Science student at Rutgers University and a lifelong chess player. I started playing chess at a young age and continue to compete in tournaments, constantly improving my understanding of the game. Chess is a true passion of mine. I’m also a fun, outgoing person who enjoys hanging out with friends and keeping lessons relaxed and engaging. I believe students learn best in a positive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is to help students improve their chess skills while also enjoying the learning process.

I’m a chess tutor who focuses on helping students truly understand the game, not just memorize moves. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. My Teaching Method:

2. Emphasis on understanding ideas (piece activity, king safety, pawn structure)
3. Step-by-step explanations using real positions and examples
