About Shweta
I had my first experience with yoga when I was 8 years old. My mother (who too has been practicing yoga for the last 34 years) took me to Vivekanand Yoga Ashram in my native town of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh India. I was an Asthmatic. Fast forward to 2007, I was struggling with low energy levels and exhaustion, unable to run behind my superactive toddler. I found a cure for improving my stamina and my recurring Asthmatic attacks, in yoga classes at Sivananda Yoga Centre, Gurgaon India. I found the classes to be soothing to my body, mind and soul. To further this journey, I did my Yoga Teacher’s Training Course from Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram, Neyyar Dam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala India in 2008. Immediately after which, I started to teach at the Sivananda Yoga centre, various classes like private classes group classes corporate classes. Next I opened my Yoga Studio In Kolkata in 2016.

I am a certified Yoga teacher with an experience of more than 16 years of teaching Yoga in different cities of India in physical classes and to students around the world in online classes. Come join a group of like-minded yogis who wish to feel happier and peaceful even when the world outside is full of turbulence. The duration of the class is 60 minutes. The class would consist of deep relaxation (Savasana), yogic Breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditative practice of yogic poses (Yoga asana). Physically, you would benefit by achieving better immunity, better energy levels and overall health and Mentally, it would be a deeply relaxing and calming experience. I give individual attention to each practitioner even in my group classes as a result of many years of experience in teaching My yoga classes are based on an ancient system of Yoga from an authentic lineage.

Ms. Shweta was one of my first Yoga teacher and she has been with me throughout my journey. I find her style of teaching very relaxing and adaptive.
