About Patricia
I first started practising yoga in 2004. In my first two years of practice, I went from twice a week to every day practice and was always hungry for more. The equanimity it gave me is priceless. The ability to help my body-mind heal was a blessing I want to share with others. When the chance came to do my yoga teacher training in 2014, I embraced it. I started out teaching on a community basis and with private clients. I soon branched out to yoga studios and fitness centres, adapting my teaching to suit the needs of my students.
I see my role as a facilitator for others to discover their own abilities in yoga.

The length of our yoga sessions are tailored to your needs, they range from a minimum of 1 hour to 2 hours.
The first session is diagnostic in nature, we establish your needs and goals and agree on the type of yoga that best suits you.
Depending on your experience and needs, a session could consist of : functional movement drills to prepare you for a pose of for a stronger practice, honing in on particular areas of your body you want to strength or gain flexibility in, work with your connective tissue to manage chronic pain.
The sessions are suitable for clients aged 18 - 60 and injury rehabilitation can be incorporated into your practice.
Your tutor, Patricia, is a yoga teacher with 8 years of experienced, registered with Yoga Alliance as an 200 e-RYT yoga teacher. She is also certified as a meditation teacher.

Details
Individual sessions are quoted separately, depending on whether the student has a chronic condition or injury they need to rehabilitate, and include a fitness appraisal and health assessment to design a suitable sequence. Prices for individual sessions are time dependent. Sessions can be 1 or 2 hours in length. The first individual session is 2 hours long, including the health assessment and customising interview. Individual session students receive customised sequences in PDF form to develop their own tailored home practice.
