I have 2 years of experience teaching elementary school students private voice lessons and I've also worked with teens, providing vocal coaching in a high school setting.
I love working with young singers. I currently coach my 17 year old daughter who is planning to audition for the Classical Voice program at Western University.

Lessons include a warm up with scales and breathing exercises, moving into learning pieces - learning/reviewing the melody of a song, working on pitch correction if required, addressing artistic expression and vocal techniques to navigate challenging phrases.
My lessons are special because I know how to make a student feel comfortable. I'm funny and love to inject lots of positive energy and encouraging feedback. I believe that to be a great voice teacher, one must nurture a student's natural voice and treat students with care and compassion. If students feel happy and safe, they will sing their best and will be able to reach their full potential.
My lessons are appropriate for all ages and ability levels.
