About Joseph
My name is Joe Rowley and I am a professional guitarist based in Birmingham. I have played live extensively in both small venues and large festivals, toured overseas with my band 'Insurgent' and recorded in a professional studio environment on multiple occasions. I hold a BA(hons) in Professional Musicianship from BIMM University Birmingham with a speciality in modern rock and heavy metal music. I am also an official endorsed artist with Victory Amplification and BareKnuckle Pickups Enhanced DBS Checked.

I firmly believe that the most important quality in a teacher is helping students to develop their own unique musical identity. I aim to accomplish this by teaching a range of skills including technical playing, music theory, compositional analysis and songwriting, however we can approach each lesson in whichever way suits you best! I advocate self-guided learning and actively encourage students to develop their own style alongside my guidance. I am also able to provide advice on various other topics such as artist development and basic music recording / production. I have the facilities to record every lesson, so upon completion, you will receive a high quality audio recording of your lesson! Refer a friend and receive half an hour free!
