About Jorge
I have teaching experience in the legal field. In recent years, I have been teaching assistant at the Faculty of Law of my university in Colombia, teaching different legal subjects through the methodology of problem-based learning (PBL). This methodology is especially applied in schools of law and medicine to achieve a more practical understanding of knowledge. I have 4 years of professional experience, mainly related to financial law and litigation. I worked in law firms, brokerage firms and government agencies in Colombia. At the same time, I have been working for my law school since my third year of university, first as a classroom assistant, then as an academic coordinator and finally as a teaching assistant.

I am a 26 year old Colombian lawyer who is studying an international MBA at Ieseg School of Business. Before coming to Paris to pursue my MBA studies, I worked as a lawyer for the Colombian government and as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law of Los Andes University in Colombia. I decided to pursue an MBA because I wanted to complete my legal background with the business skills I needed to become an entrepreneur. My mother tongue is Spanish. However, my MBA is an English speaking program that requires full command of the language (107/120 TOEFL). At the same time I have been studying French for almost a year, so I have an intermediate level.
