About Miguel
In addition to the traditional one-hour classes, I provide half-hour online classes, ideal for you who have a busier schedule. You get the same amount of class time, practicing more frequently.
After taking my TEFL / TEYL certificate, I dedicated myself, for the last 5 years, to online English classes, having embraced the challenge of teaching Portuguese more recently.
I believe in a relaxed learning environment, in which the student feels comfortable while learning and learns while talking about subjects that interest him.
To make this possible, I adopt a friendly attitude and make the lesson plan according to the student's interests and needs. Ensuring that learning is natural and that the subjects are useful are two of my biggest goals when teaching.

I am a native speaker, born and raised in Lisbon.
After finishing high school, I took the TEFL course which certifies me as an English teacher for non-native speakers. I used this certificate to dedicate myself to online teaching, and I have been doing that for five years.
Recently, after deepening grammatical and linguistic knowledge with my degree in translation, I decided to embrace the challenge of teaching Portuguese to foreign learners.
