September '18 / January '19 Peterborough (UK) Assembling Technician, Gathercole Race Engines
Machining of many engine parts on CNC 3-axis milling machine, crankshaft bearing bore, engine block resurfacing, piston re-machining as well as assembly department assistance with valve assembly, assembly of the moving motor assembly. I also had the opportunity to participate in mechanical assistance during a historic rally. This job allowed me to learn the basics of machining that is not my original training and to deepen and perfect my knowledge as much theoretical as practical mechanics of the internal combustion engine.

July 2017 Assistant in Metrology, Capricorn Automotive
Checking the dimensional quality of the crankshafts (some for the competition) with a team of experienced metrologists. I helped the company overcome an overproduction for a month. I developed my skills in metrology and learned to work with the requirements of the company, such as rigor and flexible hours.

Designing a specific assembly dedicated to crown crimping on a crankshaft during a 10-week internship at Capricorn Automotive, the company wanted to find a way to replace the crown assembly with an adjustable system. My solution was accepted by the team, respecting the specifications.

May / June 2015 Operator internship, PSA Peugeot Citroën
Design of a disassembly tool for injectors nipples during a two-month internship with a team of fitters. This task required a study with the operators concerned by the use of this tool. This internship taught me teamwork and in-depth listening to skilled work colleagues.
