About Esther
I am a native of Barcelona, Spain bilingual from birth, Catalan, Castilian I also speak French and English.
I have been teaching in the US for over 15 years. I though at Howard University, Trinity Washington University among other institutions. I taught elementary, intermediate, advance, Spanish for educators, Business Spanish, Spanish for medical students, Spanish conversation and others Spanish courses for specifically purposes. I also grade AP Spanish exams once a year
And I have taken students abroad to Barcelona with a study abroad program

I always try for the student to feel comfortable in class first, later, I teach them how to learn a language then I introduce a short concept 5 minutes maximum, we practice or students practice in groups, the I ask questions or play a game to see if they understood the concept. Once I am sure that they understood the first concept I go ahead and I present another concept.
