About Hugo
In my experience as a teacher (both guitar and initiation to music or music in English) I have been able to develop in various types of centers uninterrupted since 18 years: 2 public schools, 4 agreements, 2 institutes, 2 music academies and 2 companies of extracurricular activities. In addition to various private classes. That is why my students have been really varied: from introductory classes to music with large groups of 3 to 5 years, to lessons for adults (25-60 years), going through all school ages in large and small groups. Having been a guitar student I have learned that the best way to acquire knowledge is, without a doubt, through the taste for what is played. Therefore, as a teacher, I have always followed this pattern for almost 8 years, adapting each class to each student, whether individual or group sessions. My methodology is based on the accommodation of the instrument and the songs to the students. In this way we will not find the learning process tedious, but we will enjoy it with a wide repertoire of songs chosen by the students themselves. On the other hand, I like to focus my classes on the guitar called "accompaniment", that is, the one that performs the rhythm while singing. As a musician and composer, I invite all my students to immerse themselves in the world of music: learning to sing while playing the guitar and take advantage of our instrument when composing a letter or melody.
