About Lilli
This year, I am studying at the University of Tasmania in Hobart. I am undertaking a double degree in Theatre and Music, as that is my passion. After uni, I hope to head onstage and wow the audiences, but once I've had enough of the spotlight I want to settle down and become a drama or music teacher, and inspire future generations the same way that my teachers inspired me. Tutoring is a way to spark that in people without necessarily needing to wait that long, and by doing so online I can benefit so many more people with my skillset than I could in person. For me, it's not about the money. Yes, money's great, but I want to see my students grow and flourish in their hunt for musicality, and learn to love music and the industry the way that I do. That is why I do this. As for some random get-to-know-me's, my favorite food is lasagna, color is red/purple, musical is Hamilton, and movie is How To Train Your Dragon. Maybe we're similar in more ways than one!

Offering 30-minute to 1-hour lessons for any of the above instruments to beginner/low level students of all ages. I will ensure that you know everything you need to understand the basics of the instrument, and troubleshoot anything that isn't working for you. I was working on a Grade 5 AMEB for Trombone in 2020, but was never assessed. I also was going to be assessed for a Grade 4 AMEB in Musical Theatre last year, but the assessor wasn't able to make it, so I don't have any official qualifications, but I do have a cumulative experience of 20+ years on various different musical instruments, and a passion for teaching and helping others to learn. I also play piano, but I don't teach it because there are many other piano teachers much more qualified than me to do so. The nitty gritty of my instrument experience is: - 10 years playing trombone - 6 years playing flute - 6 years playing ukulele - 5 years of musical theatre productions, but have been singing my entire life Learning with me, you'll have a lot of laughs, and learn the basics on your chosen instrument while discovering a passion for it that you didn't know you had.
